To prevent button settings from being changed, all models have

Panel Lock*

. This prevents unwanted operation by ensuring that

guests do not inadvertently change the settings during

player-piano mode. The RG series expands this concept with Lid

Lock, which locks the keyboard lid in place over the control panel

so the beautiful classical appearance of the piano is retained.

The moving keys of a player piano* are a fascinating sight

that adds life to any party. And, if you connect an external

display, you can put on a slideshow of computer-edited

images (bitmap or jpeg format). Use a wide variety of visual

material to create original presentations for event programs,

dinner menus, or photos of guests taken during a party.

Support for CD and USB memory

expands your background-music options

The RG-7-R, RG-3M, KR117M-R, and KR115M-R come with

a built-in CD drive*, which can be used to play background

music from standard music CDs or discs from the amazing

VIMA TUNES CD-ROM library for another dimension of sight

and sound. In addition, USB media can be plugged in to

give access to music data purchased on the Internet via PC.

With a wide variety of background music in your library, you

can create different moods to suit every occasion.

A choice of elegant cabinets and ﬁnishes

Choose a classic high-gloss ebony grand-piano finish, or

expand your options with the RG-7, which also comes in white

or mahogany. Finished in mirror-polish white, the elegant

RG-7-PW is the perfect choice for wedding halls, hotel lounges,

restaurants, and a variety of other elegant environments, or

enjoy the RG-7-PM in a gorgeous polished-mahogany finish.

Roland’s Miyakoda Factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, is a state-of-the-art facility that has acquired internationally recognized ISO14001

certification for its environmental management systems and ISO9001* for quality assurance. Recycled plastic is used for PHA II (Progressive

Hammer Action II) keyboards and keyboard parts with no lead materials used in the pianos. Using Roland’s original digital-cell production

method, each instrument is individually made by hand and carefully assembled with low-environmental impact.

practice, simply plug in a set of headphones.

Microphone input for karaoke or for use

by a master of ceremonies

A microphone connected to the piano can easily be set up

for vocal accompaniment or for karaoke. In addition to echo,

other vocal effects such as voice harmony* and

male-to-female voice conversion* are available. Or, simply

plug in a microphone for use by an emcee or for speeches.

You’ll have an instant PA system for your party or other event.
