Can’t hear the vocal of a
music CD / Can’t hear the
melody of music files
Could the [MUTE/CENTER CANCEL] button be lit?
If the [MUTE/CENTER CANCEL] button is lit, the vocal sound will be
canceled from the music CD playback. If the [MUTE/CENTER CANCEL]
button is lit, the melody of the music files will be muted.
Press the [MUTE/CENTER CANCEL] button so it’s not lighted.

Vocal sounds from a
commercially produced
music CD are not minimized
when you press the [MUTE/
CENTER CANCEL] button
For some commercially available music CDs, the vocal portion cannot be
eliminated.

Can’t record
You can’t record while a notation is being generated. When the notation
has been generated (the measure numbers in the screen are no longer
highlighted), try the operation once again.

You can’t overdub onto an MP3 format song. —
The recorded performance
disappeared
Your recorded performance will disappear if you switch off the RK-300’s
power or select a song. There is no way to recover the lost performance.
Before you turn off the power, save your recorded performance in
“Favorites.”

Thin horizontal lines flicker in
the television screen
Thin horizontal lines may flicker in the television screen, but this is due to
the television itself, and is not a malfunction of the VIMA.

Can’t see the edge of the
image on the television
screen
In some cases, the edge of the image may not be visible on the television
screen, but this is due to the characteristics of the television and is not a
malfunction on the RK-300.
