which powers three acoustic piano types (Concert, Studio, and Brilliant) and 30
variations. SuperNATURAL Piano dramatically improves velocity response, note
decay, and key-range behavior over previous technologies,

smooth, natural sound and response.
For EP lovers, the RD-700NX contains a SuperNATURAL-based electric piano that
meticulously models vintage classics from the

sound-generating components, and more.
The RD-700NX

s PHA III Ivory Feel Keyboard with Escapement offers maximum
comfort, playability, and response. Equipped with advanced sensor technology,
PHA III improves key repetition and perfectly
conveys dynamic, velocity-based tonal changes,
while the escapement mechanism recreates the
authentic “click feel” of a grand piano keyboard.
The keyboard also features Roland

s acclaimed
Ivory Feel touch, a comfortable moisture-absorbent
material that prevents slipping from perspiration
during performance.
350 Preset Live Sets are built into the RD-700NX, including 50 newly added
synth-oriented variations. Custom combinations of layers, zones, effects, and tone
parameters can be stored in 200 User Live Sets for expressive sound creation. Up to
eight multi-effects can be used simultaneously in each, while front-panel sliders and
pedals are available for instant control of filter cutoff and other parameters.
With the innovative Sound Focus feature, players can always enjoy
a full range of expression, even in loud bands. From delicate
pianissimo to aggressive fortissimo, Sound Focus works
transparently to ensure that your sound never gets lost in the mix.
Included with the Version 2 system upgrade* is support for
the RD-NX Editor app for iPad, which lets you select your
favorite Live Sets and edit layers visually from your tablet.
